Full length speaker papers will be printed (following the Conference) in the Conference Proceedings. A photo ready hard copy and a machine readable media copy of all speaker papers should be provided to your respective Session, USA Co-Chair before or upon arrival at the Conference. Photo ready copy of all figures, images or photos must be provided for reference to validate correct electronic copy and local print.
Submit machine readable media copy to your respective session USA Co-Chair on a 3.5 inch floppy disk or compact disk, CD Recordable (speed 1-12x) or CD ReWritable (1-4x); or by Internet using E-mail attached document procedures; or by file transfer protocol (ftp) to a designated IWQC-II server. If electronic copy is sent by E-mail attachments, please send to both your USA Session Co-Chair and to James L. Steele. To use the ftp protocol, send E-mail to James L. Steele or Richard E. Dempster and request instructions. You will need to be familiar with ftp commands and obtain server URL and account information (id and password) to access properly.
The machine readable document must be in WordPerfect Version 9.0 (or less) format, Word 2000 (or less) format or importable as ASCII text. Figures may be provided as graphics embedded in the document or provided separately as graphic files, WP Presentations files or Word Powerpoint files. Figure numbers and a titles must be clearly identified in the document as well as file names if not inserted in the all inclusive document. It is preferable that the figure number and title not be included in the graphics portion of the figure. If included in the graphics document, place it outside the graphics area as text so that it can be edited directly in the overall document for conformity.
Text and figure pages will be reduced by 25% (x0.75) for printing of the Conference Proceedings. The working space page size before reduction is 6.67 inches wide by 10.00 inches in length. Reserve two lines at the bottom for your page number so that text, tables, figures, etc. occupy no more than the equivalent of 58 lines at 6 lines per inch. A 12 character per inch font (courier or new courier) is recommended for not more than 80 characters per line. Use single line spacing for text and indent the first line of each paragraph five spaces. Use full justification so the right margin edge of text is uniform, straight or flush to right margin. Use double spaces to separate sentences. Do not permit line breaks to occur where undesired (final review of formatting). Set word processor to use the English Language. Try not to use specialized symbols that are not universally available in the English Language. Delete references to all other language types. Do not send copies with reviewer comments included or viewable. Be sure to include source files if required to view the complete document in Word Perfect or Word. Print hard copies on quality white bond paper (8.5 x 11.0 inch). For 8.5 x 11.0 inch paper, set top and bottom margins at 0.5 inch, left margin at 1.00 inch, right margin at 0.833 inch and center the page number at the bottom of each page. Your page numbers will be replaced with correct proceedings page numbers before printing and photo reduction. Total manuscript length should be no more than 16-20 pages.
Use black ink on white paper (no color), so graph lines and symbols should be prepared accordingly for size, clarity, readability, etc. Note the projected 25% reduction. Speaker papers must be in English or include English translations and must be prepared using metric units (SI and SI preferred) with dual English units optional. Include your speaker paper abstract as the first element of the manuscript body.
The header lines for speaker papers are similar to those for speaker abstracts, but not exactly, see below for requirements. Center header lines as indicated and see example speaker paper header (title, authors, affiliation and mailing addresses) followed by abstract and speaker paper sequence headings and page working space as outlined below.

AUDIO VISUAL and PROJECTION
One, maybe two, large projection screens will be available for use in this Conference. 35 mm slide projection and video projection equipment will be available. Video projection with your laptop or uploading to on-site computers will be possible. On-site systems will require Word Powerpoint or WordPerfect Presentations compatibility. Please contact Duane E. Walker or Richard E. Dempster for any special video or on-site computer needs.
If possible, a 35 mm and video projection system will be available in a small side room. On-site practice, slide refinement and verification of video projection compatibility can be accomplished in the practice room. Video projection verifications are highly recommended. A set of 35 mm slides as a backup is also recommended, but will be the speaker's choice. Local assistance may be available in producing 35 mm slides from computer generated slides. Please contact Duane E. Walker or Richard E. Dempster if assistance is needed, however, please be cognizant of the lead time and costs.
Transparency or overhead projection equipment will not be available or used in this Conference.
