STARS is a courtesy server in the kansas.net domain, owned and operated
by James L. Steele, 4005 Coachman Road, Manhattan, KS. I may
be
reached
at this email.
This
page is being used to test the proper
operation
of the Apache Web server after installation. If you can read
this
page, it means, among other things, that the Apache Web server
installed
at this site is working.
These
pages will be created and edited with
Netscape
Communicator - Composer or some other composer/editor for a Red Hat
Linux
System. Eventually, this page will become a welcome page and
index
for general public access and use. This page will feature
information
and links that may or may not be of interest. The links will focus on
Agricultural
Engineering information, data, research, development, opportunities,
etc.
This page includes a link to the web pages for the Second International
Wheat
Quality Conference, May 2001, Manhattan, KS. The IWQC-II page includes
links to the 1997 Conference, AACC, ASAE, ICC, KSU and AIB, all
actively
involved in the organization and sponsorship of the International Wheat
Quality Conferences. This
page will also include other links, perhaps of a more personal nature,
like personal pages, high school classmate pages, perhaps some links to
specialized business pages where STARS may be the hosting server or
I'm
involved
in some way or another.
Several
pages are currently hosted by STARS,
but some links to hosted pages have been deactivated.
Personal
pages and other pages are still projected. At the moment, I
encourage all readers to be active in upcoming general
elections. Be sure to register and vote in this historic and
critical time for our nation, the USA, and help us retain and
remember the freedoms that we have, "Freeom of Choice" and "Life,
liberty and pursuit of happiness"!
Please visit again sometime and
hopefully, you will find something
of greater value at this site in the future.
Respectfully, James L. Steele

Support
Agriculture, afterall when all is said and done, "We all must
work for food!" Why do you work? Food first, other
ammenities are only available because food costs are a small percentage
of your work time. Promote Agriculture, Food and Fiber
Production, in all
states. Your support for Agriculture is greatly appreciated,
it's
the right
thing to do, the basis of any other individual endeavor, and is the
foundational strength of our nation that gives rise to all other
creative and good things that we all can do or like to think we
do. Praise be for the opportunity!
Great days ahead!!
